What does the base rate include?
Weddings: The base rate includes the building from 8am to 11pm, tables, chairs, and a black linen.
Events: The base rate includes the building for your choice of 5 hours, tables chairs, and a black linen.
Can I bring my own food?
Of course! It's your day and we want you to eat what you want to eat. We just require all food is prepared off site and brought to your event. Of course, we want you to use whatever caterer you'd like but, we encourage you to take advantage of our vendor list and look local!
Can I bring alcohol?
Alcohol is allowed if brought and served by you. The Hughe House does not provide or serve alcohol for our guests.
Can I set up the day before?
We have an "Access the Day Before" add on service that can be purchased. This will give you access the day before 8am to 11 pm.
Do I have to clean up before I leave?
If you choose to stay with the basic package then yes, you are required to clean up and have all your items removed by the end of your rental period.
However, we do have a couple different options in our add-on services. We have "Next Day Clean Up." This allows you to come back the next day to have all items removed by 10:00am. We also have "Clean Up Services." This service allows you to leave at the end of the night with no clean up required. The Hughe House will provide the clean up services and box up your items for pick up by 10:00am the next day!
Where do my guests park?
We sit on 6 acres with plenty of space for parking. Parking includes 10 paved handicap accessible parking spots, a large asphalt milled parking lot with overflow parking in our lawn. All parking is plowed, salted, and easily accessible in our winter months.
How do I secure my date?
We require 50% of the basic package in order to secure the date you have your eyes on. This payment is non-refundable. Any of our add on services can be added on throughout your planning. Those services are added to your final invoice which is due 30 days prior to your event.
Do you have restrooms available for my guests?
We do! We have both men and women's restrooms. They are large with 4 stalls each and handicap accessible.
Do you have a kitchen?
We have a great prep kitchen for your use! This includes, commercial size refrigerator, deep freezer, commercial sink with hot and cold water, and plenty of prep space! There is not an oven or stove on site. All food most come already prepared.
How many people can you seat?
The Hughe House can comfortably seat 175 guests with tables and chairs.
Do you have Wifi?
Yes we do! We have high speed fiber internet for you and your guests.
